Robins Frontlines: Senior Airman Kyiam Hawkins

Senior Airman Kyiam Hawkins, 78th Security Forces Squadron, Visitor Control Center technician, delivers first rate customer service daily for over twenty-four thousand military and civilian personnel, visitors and distinguished guests. He verifies all personnel visiting the installation are properly vetted and ensures only authorized visitors gain access to the installation.

In response to COVID-19, Hawkins provided essential feedback in constructing a plastic glass barrier between customers and 78th SFS personnel. This ensures the safety of all those involved during the pandemic while still completing necessary duties and security. Additionally, he serviced all Defense Bio-metric Identification System scanners and equipment to guarantee defenders will have no physical contact with vehicle occupants at the gates.

“Airman Hawkins’ actions have been instrumental in ensuring all contractors and deliveries to the Warner Robins Air Logistics Complex, Defense Logistics Agency and 638th Supply Chain Management are unhindered,” said Master Sgt. Joel Therrien, 78th SFS, Plans and Programs superintendent.
