AFIMSC remembers 9/11

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas – Every year, Americans pause to remember those who lost their lives on the anniversary of the 9/11 attacks, vowing to never forget the victims and heroes of that day. 

This year, to mark the 20th anniversary, Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center Airmen and families around the globe shared their memories and experiences with each other. Spanning generations and perspectives, the stories include near misses, life-changing moments and even heartbreaking loss.
