Tyndall Air Force Base Program Management Office Executive Director Brig. Gen. Patrice Melancon and Renee Richardson, Director of Acquisition Operations for the Air Force Installation Contracting Center, work an innovation exercise during a recent visit to the AFWERX facility in Las Vegas, Nevada. The workshop, June 25-26, allowed for Air Force and industry to connect with innovators to help accelerate the rebuild process at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida. Last year, Hurricane Michael affected the base by instilling significant damage to the runway and facilities. (U.S. Air Force by Veronica Kemeny)
