Base Restaurant Winter Meltdown promotion begins

WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio --  More than $12,000 worth of prizes are available to customers during Air Force Materiel Command's Base Restaurant Winter Meltdown promotion taking place Jan. 10 to Feb. 11, 2011.

This customer appreciation promotion features prizes like 32-inch plasma TVs, Nano iPods, Nintendo Wii, digital cameras, portable DVD players, Nook/Kindle portable readers, free lunches and much more.

In order to win, stop by the local base restaurant during the promotion to obtain a scratch-off game card. Each time an ordered lunch totals $4 or more, a scratch-card will be given. Instructions on how to redeem prizes and how to enter a "Second Chance Drawing" is listed on the back of the scratch card.

To kick-off the Winter Meltdown promotion a "Melt-the-Ice-Cube" event will take place at each participating base restaurant. Customers who make a purchase the first day of the promotion get to try to melt a 4-inch by 4-inch ice cube in the fastest time. Participants will need to follow the rules set forth in the promotion. Winners will receive a gourmet coffee and hot chocolate gift basket.
