The holidays are officially upon us! As you enjoy this time with family and friends near and far, I want to thank you for your commitment, patriotism and professionalism. De and I wish each of you the happiest of holiday seasons, and we extend our sincerest appreciation for all you do in support of our Air Force, our Nation and our Allies.
While this time of year affords many of us some downtime to recharge our batteries with friends and family, let us also take a moment to think about our civilian and military Airmen deployed around the world serving in harm's way. Reach out to your deployed members, and their families, to let them know how much we appreciate them. Also, remember this can be a difficult time for some of our teammates here at home, so be good wingmen this holiday season -- it's a big part of being in our Air Force family.
The commitment to excellence you display each day is inspirational. I truly can't thank you enough, and I am honored to serve our Nation with all of you!
