What is AcqDemo?
The Acquisition Demonstration Project, or AcqDemo, is an alternative human resource management pay and personnel system that provides managers and organizations with increased flexibilities in recruitment, staffing, classification, performance management, compensation, and employee development. AcqDemo was developed and implemented to provide the DoD with initiatives designed to enhance the effectiveness of personnel programs and processes.
The Benefits

It provides managers greater flexibility in the assignment and movement of personnel to meet mission requirements. Supervisory and team leader cash differentials provide incentives and compensate supervisors and team leaders in certain situations. AcqDemo also provides civilian hiring authorities and pay flexibilities to enable full exploitation of 21st century hiring tools and techniques.
