STEVEN T. COX

Steven T. Cox is the Senior Financial Advisor, Directorate of Financial Management and Comptroller, Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC), Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. In this position, he leads the command’s financial systems modernization, end-to-end business process integration, and Financial Improvement and Audit Remediation (FIAR) initiatives.

Mr. Cox entered federal civil service in 1992 as an Auditor at Hill Air Force Base, Utah. He held various positions with the Air Force Audit Agency before moving to Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio in 1998. Since moving to Ohio, he has held a variety of financial management, acquisition and logistics leadership positions. Prior to his current position, he was the Technical Advisor, Financial Operations Division, Financial Management, Headquarters AFMC, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio.
