AFMC colonels among nominees for first star Published Dec. 14, 2010 Air Force Materiel Command Public Affairs Report WRIGHT-PATTERSON AIR FORCE BASE, Ohio -- The Air Force announced Dec. 14, 2010, that three Air Force Materiel Command colonels have been nominated by the President to the Senate for appointment to the grade of brigadier general. The colonels are as follows: Col. David A. Harris, Vice Commander, Air Armament Center, Eglin Air Force Base, Fla., Daryl J. Hauck, Director and Air Force Program Executive Officer for Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance and Special Operations Forces, Wright-Patterson AFB, Ohio, and; Richard S. Stapp, Chief, Aerospace Sustainment Directorate, Ogden Air Logistics Center, Hill AFB, Utah. Additionally, former AFMC Chief of Staff Col. Linda R. Medler, now assigned to the position of Deputy Chief, Information Officer, Joint Staff, Pentagon, was also among the list of colonels nominated for appointment to the grade of brigadier general.
