Edwards AFB wing commander dies Published Feb. 5, 2008 By 95th Air Base Wing Public Affairs EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. -- The commander of the 95th Air Base Wing here died Feb. 5. Col. Bryan J. Gallagher was found unconscious at the Rosburg Fitness Center parking lot about 6:50 a.m. Base personnel started performing cardiopulmonary resuscitation. Emergency personnel responded to the scene and immediately transported Colonel Gallagher to the Antelope Valley Hospital in Lancaster, Calif., where he was pronounced dead at 7:45 a.m. "Bryan was an excellent commander that lived the Air Force core values," said Brig. Gen. David Eichhorn, Air Force Flight Test Center commander. "Our entire Air Force family mourns his loss. Our heartfelt condolences go out to his family and friends at the passing of this great leader, father and husband."
