Alex Grimsley, 78th Civil Engineering Squadron maintenance mechanic, goes above and beyond the call of duty each day to ensure that the facilities on base remain in operational status. He has handled everything from roof leaks, dormitory paint jobs for incoming personnel, Child Development Center repainting, parking lot restriping, door repairs as well as walls. His keen attention to detail increases the safety, security and morale for personnel base wide, amplifying mission effectiveness.

Recently, Grimsley has been faced with carrying a heavier workload due to a higher manpower shortage since COVID-19. He arrives to work each morning with a drive for perfection from his team members and encourages continuous improvement from everyone.

“Mr. Grimsley is definitely an asset to our shop. His drive is unparalleled. Even during these hard times, he continues to have the best attitude and pushes everyone around him to be better,” said James Cox, 78th CES Facility Maintenance supervisor. The pride and professionalism he takes in his work is inspirational.”

For all you do at Team Robins … Thank You!
