TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Tinker Frontlines: Meet J.D. Hunt
J.D. Hunt is an emergency management specialist in Tinker’s Emergency Operations Center.
The Little Rock, Arkansas, native has worked in the EOC for three years. He’s an Air Force retiree, serving in Security Police and EM/Disaster Preparedness while on active duty.
His hobbies include building and playing guitars, playing with his grandkids and doing honey-dos for his wife.
In the EOC, Hunt is in charge of plans, programs and training for his division. He says the best part of his job is working with and training younger people because “they’re really tuned-in to what they’re learning about.”
