TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- Tinker Frontlines: Meet Nakesha Tucker
Nakesha Tucker is the Military Clothing and Sales manager and has worked in this store for five years.
Originally from Washington D.C., Tucker loves singing, church and enjoying family time.
As the facility manager that runs $2.5 million a year operation, Tucker and her staff make sure they have uniform assortments for three branches of the military -- Air Force, Navy and Army -- so those troops can continue to do their mission.
Since the onset of COVID-19, the store has installed shield guards at the registers as a precautionary measure between the staff and customers. They also clean and sanitize the store every two hours, which Tucker said will become the norm.
“Tinker has become my family away from family,” she said. “Serving the military has been a great joy.”
