Team Hill Frontlines: Senior Airman Eduardo Marquez

  • 75th Air Base Wing Public Affairs

Editor's Note: The “Team Hill Frontlines" series is a recurring feature that puts the spotlight on some of the civilian and military Airmen on the "frontlines" supporting our mission, people and families during the COVID-19 crisis.

Senior Airman Eduardo Marquez works on the explosive ordnance disposal team in the 775 Civil Engineer Squadron. His main missions at Hill AFB are working the operational range clearance of seven major range complexes, aiding civil authorities in four-state response areas, and supporting the F-35 aircraft with emergency response capabilities. He is from Fresno, California, and his hobbies include reading, working out and training in Brazilian jiu-jitsu.

Eduardo’s experience working on the COVID-19 frontlines:

"I have been fortunate enough to not be extremely affected during COVID-19 in my day to day work. In fact I have had more training and work now since the range missions and aircraft are still up and running. However, the team now takes several precautions when working, such as wearing a face mask, regularly sanitizing equipment, maintaining social distancing, and limiting the number of technicians working at once on a single objective.”

Eduardo, Team Hill thanks you for your service! We appreciate you!
