Leadership skills are not only essential for career advancement, they are vital to building the Air Force of tomorrow. The Air Force Materiel Command’s Agile Patriot Leadership Conference can help develop and hone those skills.

The second Agile Patriot conference for aspiring young professionals is scheduled for Jan.10-13, 2022. The conference is designed to provide a premiere professional development opportunity for individuals in the mid-tier Airmen and civilian ranks.

The goal of the event is to equip the next generation of leaders with the knowledge, skill and ability to steer future teams in our rapidly changing world. Approximately 1,500 conference attendees will be competitively selected by their supervisors to participate via ZoomGov in the 4-day event.

Scheduled to speak at the event is United States Air Force Chief of Staff, Gen. Charles Q. Brown, Jr. along with other presenters from the Air Force and industry. Topics will include Air Force and AFMC leadership perspectives, team building, resiliency, innovation, diversity and much more. Attendees will have invaluable opportunities to hear from and interact with current leaders.

Agile Patriot is open to AFMC military and civilian Airmen in the enlisted ranks of staff through technical sergeant; officers from the rank of first lieutenant through captain; and civilians between the ranks of GS 9-11 and their equivalents.

Airmen who are interested in attending should contact their supervisors. An official invite for the event was sent by email to all AFMC leaders for their immediate action. Attendees will be removed from their day-to-day work environment and will be considered TDY during the week.
