The Air Force Sustainment Center Directorate of Personnel is excited to announce the fall launch of the Skill Enhancement and Employee Development (SEED) data call. The application window opens Aug. 28 and closes Sept. 8, offering prime opportunities for personnel to self-nominate for workforce development initiatives across the Center.
SEED programs span a wide range of offerings including:

  • AFSC/FAA Leadership Exchange Program
  • Federal Wage System Mentorship Program
  • Human Resource Career Enhancement Program
  • Human Resource Certification
  • Human Resource Job Shadowing
  • Human Resource Mentoring
  • Human Resources University Succession Planning Program
  • Training with Industry

The programs included in this data call provide active, engaging avenues for personnel to learn from seasoned professionals in practical settings. They are tailored to highlight a variety of career goals, skill sets, and learning preferences.

A roadshow will take place via Microsoft Teams Thursday, 17 August at 1300 Central Standard Time and can be accessed by clicking here or dialing in at 410-874-6750, ID: 716 739 523#. While the roadshow is open to all, program participation is open only to current federal and military personnel.

The roadshow will provide an in-depth look into each program, including specific start dates, target audiences, and other key details. This is an excellent platform to directly address any questions to the Workforce Development team.

In addition, detailed fact sheets for each program can be found on the SEED SharePoint accessible from any government computer. The guides encompass all of the information needed to make an informed decision about which programs align with individual professional development goals. Applications will be exclusively accepted on this website during the data call window Aug. 28 – Sept. 8.

SEED seeks to empower personnel with the tools needed for continuous professional growth. Interested personnel are encouraged to take full advantage of this opportunity to enhance their skills, broaden their horizons, and propel their careers forward.
