Windows open for DAF Sports wrestling, golf

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas – Application windows are now open for Department of the Air Force golf and wrestling athletes and coaches to participate in upcoming sports camps and tournaments. 

Here are more details on each sport, courtesy of the Air Force Services Center:

Wrestling: Application window for coaches closes Dec. 15 and for athletes Jan. 15. Selected athletes attend a training and selection camp Feb. 19-28 at the U.S. Air Force Academy, Colorado Springs, Colorado, and the Armed Forces Championship Feb. 29-March 4. The national/International Military Sports Council (CISM) event is in November 2024 in Yerevan, Armenia. 

Golf: Application window closes Dec. 31 for coaches and Jan. 15 for athletes. Selectees will attend a camp at Patrick Space Force Base, Florida, March 4-10, followed by the Armed Forces Championship March 11-15. There is also a chance to attend a CISM competition June 2024 in Victoria Falls, Zimbabwe.
