Window opens for DAF men's, women's softball

JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas – The application window opens May 15 for Department of the Air Force softball players and coaches to participate in upcoming sports camps and tournaments. 

The window closes June 15 for men’s and women’s coaches and June 30 for players.

Those selected will attend training camps July 30 - Aug. 1. The location for the camps hasn't been finalized at this time. The training camps will be followed by the Armed Forces Championships Aug. 13-19, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. 

The men’s national event follows Aug. 29 - Sept. 1, in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Details on the women’s national event haven’t been determined.
