The Adobe Joint Enterprise License Agreement (JELA) IV was awarded on Sept. 23, 2024.

The $120 million Department of the Air Force (DAF) value contract provides critical publishing and editing software to Airmen and Guardians with tools such as Adobe Acrobat Professional, Adobe Experience Manager Forms, Creative Cloud, and other publishing software with a projected savings of $2.2 billion.

Dell was awarded the new four-and-a-half-year contract to provide software licenses to Department of Defense (DoD) participants in the JELA for Adobe products that are at the forefront of transforming the creation of digital content.

The DAF acquires 560,000 enterprise bundle licenses of Adobe Acrobat Pro and Adobe Experience Manager Forms for all Airmen and Guardians via the JELA at a significant cost savings over retail prices.

Over the life of the contract, savings for the enterprise bundle will reach nearly $2.2 billion. Units acquire below-the-line products such as Creative Cloud Suite, Photoshop, InDesign, Premier Pro, and ColdFusion with substantial discounts as well.

Personnel in schoolhouses, on the flightline, in public affairs, on the cyber-front, in Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR), and many others in the DAF rely on Adobe products daily to move the mission forward in the digital realm.

The Business and Enterprise Systems Services Management Division (GBQ) led the way for the DAF with input and support to the contracting agency, Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA)/Defense Information Technology Contracting Organization (DITCO), to facilitate the generation of the Request for Proposal and refined contract terms and conditions beneficial to the department's specific needs.

The team interfaced with counterparts from the other services and agencies to forge an agreement that will provide more than 1.6 million DoD personnel with access to Adobe offerings.

DAF organizations are currently renewing licenses under the new JELA and enjoying the benefits of an industry partnership between Adobe, Carahsoft, and Dell to meet their license needs.

GBQ provides enterprise agreement support to the DAF for Adobe, Oracle, and Cisco that reaches Airmen and Guardians in all functional areas with a mission focus to “Delight the User”.
