TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- The Air Force Sustainment Center Directorate of Manpower and Personnel has announced the launch of Career Compass, a new learning initiative aimed at providing professional development opportunities for all AFSC personnel.
Evolving from the previous HR-focused series, HR: In the Know, Career Compass is now a Total Force program that offers resources to support career growth for all roles and functions within AFSC.
The goal of Career Compass is to assist civilian personnel to expand their expertise, improve leadership skills, or potentially explore new career paths. Career Compass also offers webinars, panel discussions, and resource guides designed to fit the schedule and goals of personnel.
“The learning series aims to empower individuals by fostering personal and professional growth in a low-pressure, easily accessible environment,” said Venita White, Workforce Development Program Sustainment lead. “Career Compass is kicking off with a dive into “The AI Frontier” exploring how artificial intelligence is revolutionizing the modern workforce and impacting the way we do business in today’s workplace.”
Webinars include:
1. AI in the Workplace
2. Building Your Own Custom GPT
3. NIPR GPT Overview
“This is an opportunity to gain valuable insights from Subject Matter Experts and position yourself for success in today’s rapidly evolving landscape,” added White.
