TINKER AIR FORCE BASE, Okla. -- The Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex completed the Aerospace Standards Aviation Maintenance Organizations (AS9110) annual audit May 27-30.
The audit, which governs quality management systems for aerospace maintenance, repair, and overhaul (MRO) organizations, is necessary to maintain readiness and support warfighting capabilities.
The audit recently rated the OC-ALC as receiving zero nonconformities, highlighting vital satisfaction in aircraft, commodities, and propulsion maintenance groups.
“Receiving zero nonconformities on this audit validates the successful performance and effectiveness of the internationally certified quality management system,” said Brian Sheehan, AS9110 program manager. “Passing the AS9110 audit demonstrates that the complex operates a robust quality management system aligned with the industry’s best practices.”
Achieving zero non-conformances during the AS9110 audit is a significant accomplishment which reflects OC-ALC’s commitment to excellence in aerospace quality management. This outcome demonstrates the effectiveness of robust processes, attention to detail, and dedication to continuous improvement.
“The OC-ALC can be benchmarked throughout the international aerospace industry as having a world class MRO program, validating our commitment to aerospace quality and excellence,” said Brig. Gen. Moore commander of the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex. “This success is a testament to the readiness of the Complex’s team members who prepare for and execute our vital mission every day.”
The Complex has undergone the external annual audit since 2009. The audit confirms the complex excels in meeting aerospace quality standards, supporting aircraft availability, safety and overall mission success. The standards ensure reliable maintenance and repair, improve readiness and fleet longevity while reducing errors and turnaround times, maintaining its reputation as a trusted partner in aircraft sustainment.
