CLARK CITY, Philippines -- The Ogden Air Logistics Complex supported the Philippine Air Force Air Logistics Command Forum held July 21-23, presenting foundational concepts of Art of the Possible (AoP), Continuous Improvement and Innovation (CI2), and a brief overview of Contested Logistics.
Nearly 100 logistics personnel from the Philippine Air Force, Army, Navy and cyber security sectors attended the three-day event, which included instructional sessions, familiarization courses and site visits.
The forum fostered cross-branch collaboration and introduced key logistics strategies aimed at improving operational efficiency.
Ron Brown, CI2 process manager and AoP associate with the Ogden ALC, represented the Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC) and led training sessions throughout the event.
“Simply put, Art of the Possible is AFSC’s chosen Theory of Constraints management system,” Brown said. “Its aim is fundamentally to improve throughput by identifying and eliminating constraints with Continuous Improvement and Innovation methods and tenets.”
Brown said future collaboration may include developing local expertise, expanding AoP adoption and adjusting materials to support regional needs. Strategic liaisons are expected to assist in aligning future efforts with strategic objectives.
“Connecting and understanding systems-thinking are essential for future strategic collaborative efforts,” Brown said. “Our Air Force AoP SMEs and CI2 practitioners will essentially lay a cornerstone for other entities and functions to establish and build on that systemic foundation.
“The mutual interests of our Air Force and international partners will only become more fortified as we share a common voice, and that begins with Art of the Possible,” he added.
