Air Force Sustainment Center Commander Lt. Gen. Jennifer Hammerstedt and Louisiana Tech University President Dr. Jim Henderson signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on Monday, at the Oklahoma City Air Logistics Complex on Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma.

This agreement establishes a framework for collaboration — advancing cutting-edge research opportunities, opening clear career pathways for Louisiana Tech students into AFSC roles, and fostering ongoing dialogue on areas of mutual benefit.

By partnering with innovative academic institutions like Louisiana Tech, AFSC continues to strengthen the talent pipeline, drive technological advancements, and enhance their ability to deliver world-class sustainment and logistics readiness. This directly supports AFSC's mission: providing agile, war-winning capabilities so America's warfighters can fly, fix, and fight — anytime, anywhere.
