Officials announced the Senate confirmation of Lt. Gen. Ellen M. Pawlikowski, Military Deputy, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., to the rank of general with the assignment to the position of AFMC commander here. Also announced were the confirmations of Maj. Gen. Arnold W. Bunch, Jr., commander of the Air Force Test Center at Edwards Air Force Base, California, to the rank of lieutenant general with assignment as Military Deputy, Office of the Assistant Secretary of the Air Force for Acquisition at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C.; Maj. Gen. Lee K. Levy II, Vice Director for Logistics (J-4), Joint Staff at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C., to the rank of lieutenant general with assignment as commander of the Air Force Sustainment Center at Tinker AFB, Oklahoma; Brig. Gen. Michael T. Brewer, commander of the 412th Test Wing at Edwards AFB to the rank of major general; and Brig. Gen. David A. Harris, commander of the 96th Test Wing at Eglin AFB, Florida, to the rank of major general.
