Robins AFB additive manufacturing lab boosts Air Force readiness
ROBINS AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. – Evan Johnson, a 402nd CMXG additive manufacturing engineer lead, uses an automated robotic inspection station, also known as ARIS, to scan an aircraft part for dimensional verification at Robins Air Force Base, Georgia, May 22, 2025. The ARIS measurements were used to create computer-aided designs, which are then used to make parts that prove difficult to obtain through regular supply chains.
