Commander talks challenges, impacts to AFMC's community leaders
Gen. Janet Wolfenbarger, commander of Air Force Materiel Command, meets with her Community Liaison Program members March 21, 2013 at command headquarters. Twenty-five civic leaders representing each of the command's nine Air Force bases, as well as Gunter Annex, Ala., met with the commander for a discussion of challenges, including sequestration, that lie ahead for the Air Force and the impact of those challenges throughout AFMC and its local communities. Among those at the meeting, from left, were Dr. Pete Kay, representing Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, and Morgan Law and Lynn Murphey, both Robins AFB, Ga., representatives.
