The Joint Strike Fighter began the integration phase of weapons testing Oct. 26, 2012, when the F-35A Conventional Takeoff and Landing (CTOL) aircraft successfully completed the first in-flight test with an AIM-120 Advanced Medium Range Air-to-Air Missile.
