KAPISA PROVINCE, Afghanistan – U.S. Air Force Capt. Seth Platt, Kapisa Provincial Reconstruction Team civil engineer, meets with locals during a site survey for the proposed Abdul Hadi Padar secondary school. This site survey was conducted with Kapisa provincial development council representatives, Kapisa Ministry of Education engineers, and local village elders and shura members to ensure everyone’s input was taken into consideration. By working together, the group is able to collectively identify the most suitable locations for proposed projects. The mission of Kapisa PRT is to help facilitate the local and national governments of Afghanistan working together to help provide for the development and security needs of the Afghan people.
