President Obama speaks at Andrews about biofuels, offshore oil, gas exploration
President Barack Obama speaks to a group of service members and honorary guests inside Hangar 3 at Joint Base Andrews, Md., March 31, 2010, about the U.S. expansion and exploration of offshore oil and gas for fuel. The president spoke in front a Navy F/A-18F Super Hornet, which is slated to test the use of environmentally friendly bio fuel on Earth Day, April 22. If the test is successful, the F/A-18F Super Hornet will be the first fighter jet to use a combination of hydrotreated renewable jet and JP-8 fuel to break the sound barrier.
