WHITEMAN AIR FORCE BASE, Mo.

During an Aug. 23 flight, an A-10 Thunderbolt II from the 442nd Fighter Wing, Whiteman AFB, Mo., connects with the refueling boom of a KC-10 Extender from the 305th Air Mobility Wing, McGuire AFB, N.J.
