Air Traffic Controllers
EDWARDS AIR FORCE BASE, Calif. — Tim Bryant (foreground) and John Snyder (back), Radar Control Facility’s Space Positioning Optical Radar Tracking air traffic controllers, provide an extra set of “eyes” for the pilots performing test missions. SPORT controllers inform aircrew members of the location, altitude and direction of other aircraft in close proximity as well as air space boundary notifications and weather and airport information.
