Air Force takes responsibility of JBAB

The Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center played a pivotal role in the transition of JBAB from Navy to Air Force control Oct. 1 when AFIMSC’s Detachment 5 at nearby Joint Base Andrews, Maryland, orchestrated what was the Defense Department’s first-ever lead service transfer of a joint base.
