Air Force Civil Engineer Center's Capt. Kyle Imhoff runs a trail during a 52 km race which includes reaching the top of Mt. Umunhum, the fourth highest peak in California’s Santa Cruz Mountains. The captain earned first place in his under 30 age group. Imhoff, one of a growing number of ultramarathon athletes, took part in the race on his day off during a temporary duty assignment to California in support of an airfield pavement evaluation.
