Final Flight
Maintainers from the 96th Aircraft Maintenance Squadron complete jet 025’s preflight check before its final flight and retirement July 30 at Eglin Air Force Base, Fla. The twin-engine, single seat F-15C flew as a memorial to Maj. James Duricy, a test pilot who died in the same kind of aircraft during a test flight in 2002.
