Capabilities demo for latest technologies

Members of the Air Force Civil Engineer Center learn about the capabilities of unmanned aerial and ground vehicles containing Light Detection and Ranging, or LiDAR, during a capabilities demonstration at Tyndall Air Force Base, Florida, Dec. 2, 2021. During the event, Hexagon Federal USA/Leica demonstrated an unmanned aerial vehicle, the BLK2FLY, and the BLK ARC, which can be used with unmanned ground vehicles. The data captured by these systems can produce 3D models, drawings and visuals providing real-time information for installation commanders and leaders regarding critical decision making while keeping Airmen safe.
