Air Force EOD competition

The explosive ordnance disposal team from Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, disarms an improvised explosive device by using an explosive tool mounted to their robot. The EOD team competed against seven other teams from bases across the region at the 2022 Air Force Explosive Ordnance Disposal Southeast Region Team of the Year competition. The event, March 28 through April 1, 2022, at the Guardian Center Training Facility in Perry, Georgia, is part of the newly established Air Force EOD Team of the Year competition. The competition is a collaboration between the Air Force Installation and Mission Support Center at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas, and the Air Force Civil Engineer Readiness Division, Pentagon, Washington, D.C.
