Agents of hope: Suicide prevention program encourages all to 'connect to protect'

September marks Suicide Prevention Month; a time to focus on connecting and caring for Air Force Academy Cadets, Airmen, their families and civilians in order to strengthen interpersonal relationships. Academy suicide prevention resources include chaplains; community support coordinators; family advocates; the 10th Medical Group Mental Health Clinic; military family life counselors; Peak Performance Center and Sexual Assault Prevention and Response staff; violence prevention integrators; and first-line supervisors. Individuals dealing with suicidal ideations or a crisis can call or text 988 to receive support. (Courtesy photo)
