AEDC Tunnel A tested with standard model
An AGARD-B model installed on a sting is shown in the tank below Supersonic Wind Tunnel A in the von Kármán Gas Dynamics Facility at Arnold Air Force Base, Tennessee, headquarters of Arnold Engineering Development Complex, Dec. 13, 2022. The AGARD-B is a standard model used to gather data to compare the flow in different wind tunnels and in the same tunnel at different times. Periodically testing with a standard model allows test personnel to be confident in the data they are collecting from customer models. (U.S. Air Force photo by Jill Pickett)
