AFSC Community Leaders Program visits AMARG

Lt. Gen. Stacey Hawkins, commander of the Air Force Sustainment Center dons protective gear to try his hand at applying the coating used to seal an aircraft during the civic leaders tour of the 309th Aerospace Maintenance and Regeneration Group at Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Ariz. The AFSC Commander invited the members of the AFSC Civic Leader Program from Arizona, Oklahoma and Utah to get a first-hand look at the sustainment mission at AMARG to learn more about how the group stores, maintains and regenerates aircraft at this one-of-a-kind facility.
