Green Latrine System

The Green Latrine System is a containerized latrine system capable of operating exclusively on solar power. It’s roof-mounted photovoltaic 3.4-kilowatt solar panels and advanced energy storage system can independently operate the system which comes with a sink, a shower and toilet. AFCEC has a significant role in climate change initiatives intended to enhance resiliency at Air Force installations by addressing the risks severe weather poses to infrastructure, operational capabilities and readiness as outlined in the Department of the Air Force Climate Campaign Plan.
