USAF building Strong Bonds
A 108th Wing chaplain from Joint Base McGuire-Dix-Lakehurst, N.J., instructs single Airmen during a Strong Bonds retreat. AFIMSC’s Chaplain Corps division recently made improvements to the event management system to make it easier for Airmen, Guardians and their families to identify and participate in Strong Bonds events. Strong Bonds is a chaplain based military program designed to assist commanders in supporting unit-led retreats for service members, their spouses and their families. The programs taught are research based in the hopes of building resiliency and reduces stressors that can endanger Airmen. (U.S. Air National Guard photo by Airman 1st Class Julia Pyun)
