From enlisted Airman to SES: A journey built on mindset, grit and service

Daniel Watson’s career with the U.S. Air Force has taken him from enlisted Airman to Senior Executive Service civilian. After enlisting, Watson was stationed at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, where he served as a military working dog handler with the 88th Security Police Squadron. Today, he serves as the command counsel for Headquarters Air Force Materiel Command, providing senior-level legal counsel to one of the Air Force’s major commands.
