    Airmen, Guardians, and their families may now access EFMP information without using a Common Access Card at the Department of the Air Force Family Vector website.
  • Air Force to host EFMP Summit

    The 2020 virtual Exceptional Family Member Program Summit is scheduled to broadcast via the Department of the Air Force EFMP Facebook page at www.facebook.com/AirForceEFMP, Oct. 21 at 9 a.m. CDT. All EFMP families, leaders, mentors and supervisors of Air and Space professionals enrolled in the program are invited to participate in the event, giving attendees the opportunity for communication with EFMP experts and leadership.
  • EFMP families receive hands-on experience

    Families enrolled in the Hanscom Exceptional Family Member Program have taken on the role of teachers, therapists and counselors during the COVID-19 pandemic. Over the last few months, families with children on the Autism spectrum or with sensory processing needs, expressed concerns that virtual occupational therapy sessions were lacking, so officials from the Airmen and Family Readiness Center here sought a solution.

    The Department of the Air Force stood up a new division at the Air Force’s Personnel Center to integrate three Exceptional Family Member Program (EFMP) components -- medical, family support and assignments.

    The Exceptional Family Member Program instituted new support to minimize the impact caused by department COVID-19 policies, including the Stop Movement order and social distancing guidelines.
