  • 72nd MDG COVID-19 clinic receives upgrades

    With the onset of coronavirus in March, the 72nd Medical Group clinic operations at Tinker Air Force Base were significantly diminished in order to protect both its patients and staff, now as much as possible, operations are returning to normal. The response to the pandemic has progressed and what initially began as a pop-up tent clinic for COVID-19 patients has now evolved into three hardened structures, providing increased capabilities.
  • AFSC Commander visits 72nd MDG

    Lt. Gen. Gene Kirkland, Air Force Sustainment Center commander, center, and Chief Master Sgt. David Flosi, AFSC command chief, visited the 72nd Medical Group's (MDG) clinic at Tinker Air Force Base, Oklahoma, Aug. 5, 2020. The visit allowed Kirkland and Flosi to gain a better understanding of how the 72nd MDG has protected the health and safety of the Tinker workforce while balancing the mission during the COVID pandemic.
  • Tinker expands precautions to combat COVID-19

    With the occurrence of Tinker Air Force Base’s first cases of the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, Tinker’s leadership has continued to implement expanded precautions to keep Airmen safe while also ensuring the installation’s ability to meet mission requirements.
