  • Hanscom team to rollout major IT upgrades for 700K users

    A Hanscom IT team expects to rollout improved end user services to numerous Air and Space Force locations beginning in the summer of 2021.
  • Ready Player One? AF Services puts E-sports to the test in Global Strike

    Air Force Gaming made its official debut on November 11, under the Air Force Services Center with a new intramural e-sports program. Teams at eight Air Force Global Strike Command bases will compete in a pilot program to crown the gaming champions of the command. AFGSC Airmen and Space Professionals also from the command will participate in the program with teams formed to compete with each base hosting playoffs and base championships before the final major command championship.  The pilot program runs through mid-December. AFSVC plans to expand the AFGL to all Air and Space Force installations in January.
  • Second experiment for IT services begins at eight bases

    For bases participating in the experiment, nearly every part of their daily interaction with the Air Force network will be touched. The integrated program office here has worked with the major commands and Air Force leaders to select a group of bases representing a diverse range of mission capabilities and geographic locations.
